Services
The pregnancy and motherhood journey is a personal one, unique in every way. My services and pricing cater to you, Mama.
Consultation: Free
It's important that the client/doula connection is a mutually pleasant one. I sit down with you at a local coffee shop and chat to see if we're a good match. During this hour-long meeting, we answer any questions the other has and, if we're a good fit, go over the doula/client contract.
If you have a birth partner (spouse, significant other, parent, etc.) I would prefer for them to be present, as our chemistry and their willingness to work with a doula matters. I want to be able to help them in any way I can, too.

Birth Doula Service: $600 (discounts available for low-income, service members, first responders, homeschool families, clergy)
After a contract is signed, we will meet 1-2 times before the birth of your baby.
We will meet up once (this is separate from the consultation) to discuss and create your birth plan. We'll go over any questions you have, and I'll follow up with any evidence-based information you need so you can make informed choices. When your birth plan is created, I'll send it to you in a PDF form so you can print a copy to give your OB/Midwife, carry to the hospital, or do with as you choose.
The second meeting is optional, so it's totally up to you! I am available to go to one OB/Midwife appointment with you in your third trimester. This helps unify the birth team, allowing us to all touch base before the big day.
When you reach 38 weeks, I go on call. I won't travel out of my service area and I keep my doula bag packed and ready to go.
During labor, I hold space in the birth room. Based on your birth plan preferences, I use comfort measures to help you through the birthing process. Utilizing tools such as birth balls and different positions, I help you focus on the work your body is doing. If you are having a c-section, if you choose to have me in the room to support you through that, I'll be there. If you want me to be present but in the waiting room, available to come in and help with breastfeeding, cleaning up before guests see you/baby, etc., I can do that too. Many clients have asked me to create a tranquil environment in the birth room by bringing items such as battery-operated candles, low music, diffusing their essential oils, etc., and some request that I snap pictures on my phone during their labor.
I stay two hours after the birth. During this time, I can help with feeding, helping mama clean up, grabbing any snacks you may have brought or staying with you while your birth partner makes a food run.
In the weeks following your birth, I am available to chat if you need further information/emotional support. I have a list of services you can refer to if you need breastfeeding help, a massage, chiropractic therapy for you/baby, personal trainer, etc.

Postpartum care is easily catered to what you need. Usual requests are:
- light house cleaning
- help with breastfeeding
- making padsicles*
- snack prep*
- picking up takeout food if client calls in and pays ahead of time
- running client an herbal sitz bath
- holding baby while client bathes or naps
- discussing postpartum nutrition
- emotional support (this is usually in the form of mamas reaching out to me when they have all of the "new parent" questions, are feeling the hormonal ups and downs, or just need someone to talk to/relate with)
Postpartum care often relieves stress from the other parent, as oftentimes they have to return to work and have difficulty offering all the support mama needs plus adjusting to their new roles as parents. An uninterrupted shower, hour-long nap, and discussing concerns/ideas are often the very thing a new mama needs to clear her head and feel refreshed. Some ask that I chop veggies and fruit for them so they have healthy, easy snacks. If I need to pick up these things, additional payment is made in advance so I can drop by the store on my way to our postpartum appointment.
Pricing is as follows: - $35/hr for postpartum care. This includes me coming to your home and assisting in any of the above services except the following add-on services.
If you want one of the following add-ons, they are done DURING your postpartum hour. They will take up approximately 20 minutes of your hour. If you are wanting the full hour for napping, etc., take that into consideration when deciding how many hours you wish to reserve. There are no discounts applied to add-on services. - +$15 padsicles I'll make these in your home during a postpartum hour.
- +$25 snack prep I'll drop by the store and pick up fruits/veggies and wash/chop them for you. I do this during your postpartum hour.
